OVERVIEW<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Galaxy rounds out a huge day of Group 1 racing at Rosehill on one of the biggest days of the year. The race itself looks to be another cracking feature, with many quality runners lining up, including Kementari, who is resuming after a failed stud career. Multiple Group 1 winner Pierata heads the betting.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPEED MAP<\/b><\/h3>\n

This looks like a mad dash to the finish, with a number of speedy frontrunners engaged here. Any of; Miss Leonidas, Jungle Edge or Splintext could lead and it may turn into a speed battle up front. Cosmic Force (if running), Fasika and Anaheed are also likely to push forward. The speed up front might set the race up perfectly for backmarkers such as\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. PIERATA (<\/b>$4.60<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Resuming today after taking out the Group 1 Redzel Stakes to finish off a successful Spring preparation. Beat a quality field that day and to his credit was able to win despite being wide no cover throughout. Has trialled well leading into this and looks a deserving favourite.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. KEMENTARI (<\/b>$11<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Unfortunately, Kementari \u201cThe Ferrari\u201d wasn\u2019t quite the stud they expected but thankfully he\u2019s had a better racing career. Hasn\u2019t won since taking out the Group 1 Randwick Guineas in March 2018 but also hasn\u2019t been further than 4L in any of his runs since. Probably better over further but is definitely a chance, especially with the strong tempo up front.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. FASIKA (<\/b>$7<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Looks to me like Fasika\u2019s best distance is 1200m – each time she\u2019s stepped out past this, she has failed to finish strongly. She also endured some bad luck last prep, posted wide first up when going down narrowly. Resumed brilliantly this prep for a 1L victory at Group 3 level. She should improve off that run and can feature here.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. COSMIC FORCE (<\/b>$6.50<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Is currently waiting for a spot as an emergency here but I think if he finds a run, he could prove tough to beat. He was disadvantaged last start, racing in the worst ground behind Villami first up at Rosehill – they gapped third. He\u2019s much better second up and looks a chance here.<\/span><\/p>\n

          BLUEY\u2019S PICK<\/b><\/h3>\n

          1. PIERATA (<\/b>$4.60<\/b><\/a>)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            This looks like a tricky race and a lot will depend on what goes on in the early stages. For me, Pierata looks the most suited by the hot tempo up front, plus he\u2019s shown he can wrong a strong 1300m. He\u2019s a multiple Group 1 winner and there\u2019s no reason to think he shouldn\u2019t run well again here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
